When we truly love someone – we treat them with care. We try not to hurt them: we let the hot drink cool down before serving them, pull them away from a fast-moving car, and ask them to stay in bed if they are ill.

Today, in the Gentle Garden, which is one of the most beautiful places in our Mindspa resort, we will ask you to try and learn the skill of evaluating usefulness.

During the whole day monitor your every action. And ask yourself: “Is this good or bad for me? Will this bring more benefit or harm? Will this make me feel joy or sadness?”

Try to avoid one of the detrimental actions and praise yourself for it. If you manage to avoid two – even better!

For example:

– I will not look at my ex’s Facebook page because it hurts me.

– I will not eat deep-fried food late at night because I am not able to sleep well after that.

– I will not discuss my career with my mom because she doesn’t know how to listen.

If you feel like it, continue this exercise tomorrow, or even the day after tomorrow. This way you are going to create a habit.
