4. I can do some things as good as most other people.
5. I don’t feel like I have something to be proud of.
6. I feel good about myself.
7. Overall, I’m not satisfied with myself.

You are not sure where to begin?
Total points: 10-18. You lack self-esteem; it is on a very low level. You tend to blame yourself for everything bad, you only see your flaws and focus on your weaknesses. You are trapped in a vicious circle of self-deprecation, which doesn’t allow you set goals and achieve success. You look for confirmation of your insignificance in every event.
Total points: 18-22. You are balancing between self-esteem and self-deprecation. Your achievements raise you to unprecedented heights (and then your self-respect is through the roof), and your failures drop your self-esteem down. Your opinion of yourself is unstable and fluctuates from one extreme to the other.
Total points: 23-34. Your self-respect prevails, you are able to adequately assess your strengths and weaknesses. You can admit your mistakes, you don’t lose self-esteem in case of failures, but sometimes you tend to engage in continuous self-criticism: “I did not foresee this, overlooked something, didn’t prepare for something”. This sometimes keeps you trying to change the impossible and prevents you from directing your strength and energy to something you can actually influence.
Total points: 35-40. You respect yourself as an individual, as a personality, as a professional and you do everything to continue to respect yourself in the future: you develop, improve your professional skills, grow spiritually and intellectually, develop your relationships, you are able to learn from your mistakes and challenges. This is the norm to strive for.
If this test revealed that you have a low level of self-esteem, it’s a good reason to start working on changing this. Self-respect is an element of proper self-esteem that allows a person feel comfortable and find an adequate place in society.
